Little is known about Vremen at this point. A relative unknown until just a few years ago, he managed to gain major influence within the ruling council of Gredylt after emerging from obscurity. His popularity with the common people of that nation quickly grew. As he accumulated political power, a shadowy cabal practicing forbidden magic slowly stepped onto the stage, having apparently been backing Vremen all along. They called themselves the Silver Horse Society.
By now, it was too late for the International Guild of Wizardry to step in. The Society became the fist behind Vremen’s velvet gloves, and his initial policy changes brought prosperity to Gredylt’s working class. In short order, he managed to stage a near bloodles coup and crown himself the first Wizard-King of the newly formed Magocracy of Gredylt.
Vremen is said to be quite young, and humble despite his intelligence. His followers lionize him as a grounded, charismatic man while his enemies call him scheming and two-faced. His whereabouts are uncertain, but he is likely marching with the main bulk of his army in order to provide a morale boost during this one final conquest.
